Originally from central Florida, my family moved to Mobile Alabama when I was 10 years old. At the age of 16, I was invited to spend the summer working with my uncle in Minnesota. At that time, I did not know the Lord, and was mainly planning on coming to make a few bucks, and visit family. Three short months and I would be back at home, but Jesus had another plan! During those three months, I was exposed to the truth of God’s word, and my life was changed forever. I decided to move to Minnesota at the end of that summer and have been here ever since.

I have been married to the most amazing woman I know since 2004, Cherice Brooks. The Lord has seen fit to bless us with 3 beautiful little girls, and one handsome boy! Starting with our girls, Haylee, our oldest, and Ashlee and Allee, the twins! Yep twins! Last but not least, is our boy Jace. Quite simply, I consider myself to be a very blessed man.

I am a carpenter by trade and a minister by calling. My wife and I are privileged to serve as the Assistant Pastor of River of Life Church in Grand Rapids, MN. I have a tremendous amount of confidence in the youth of Minnesota! They have the heart and ability to be used by God to radically change this state for the Kingdom. They are undoubtedly the leaders of tomorrow, yet undeniably a powerful part of the church today!

I was born and raised in Albert Lea, MN (Southern MN). While in high school I was fortunate enough to be able to go on two mission trips (Argentina and El Salvador) with the UPCI. When done with high school, I left home feeling called to go to Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul, MN. Throughout that year my friendship with my beautiful wife began. After attending my first year at ABI the Lord lead me and opened up a door for me to go to Calvary UPC, in Bloomington, MN. I became youth leader to a great group of anointed young people which continued for 7 years. In those years I was blessed to marry my wife Sally, and we began our life of ministry together. Four years later in 2009, we were blessed with our first precious son, Ethan.

That same year I became the Section 2 Youth Director. I continued on the ministerial staff of Calvary UPC of Bloomington, MN, and in 2010 I passed the baton of being the Youth Pastor at Calvary onto another couple. In 2011 we were blessed from the Lord with our second son, Josiah. My days are spent helping at my local church, district youth functions, working as a inside sales representative, and most of all spending time with my wife and my amazing little boys at home. In my free time, I love going to the cabin with my family, playing outside with my boys, and drive any kind of recreational vehicle!

I‘ve grown up in the Mankato area my entire life. I grew up going to the majority of the districts events, however there was a period of my life where I wasn’t where God wanted me to be. Thankfully it was a Thursday night at a Senior Camp, when God called me to preach. From that moment on, I‘ve been following after God’s will. Not perfectly, but pursuing Him daily!

I went to Indiana Bible College for 1 year, and came back to the greatest state ever to begin ministry. I was the Youth Pastor at the Mankato United Pentecostal Church for 5 blessed years, and have had a burden for teenagers since I was a teenager myself. I am now serving in the same church I grew up in, as an assistant to the Pastor.

I have a lovely wife, Crystal, who is the love of my life! We met at our local church, when I got back from Indiana Bible College. She loves doing ministry, raising our children, and of course drinking coffee. I also have 2 beautiful daughters, the oldest being Olivia, and the youngest being Ariana. We are thrilled to be a part of the MN Youth Committee, and look forward to being a part of what God has for the greatest students in the world!

I grew up in Rochester Minnesota. As a student I attended Sr. Camps, Youth Conventions, NAYC trips, and youth retreats. There was a time in my life where I didn’t always put God first and was living for me. It was at a service at Ironwood where God used some youth workers that I respected and looked up to, to speak into my life and call me to surrender my life back to God and do a work for Him. I felt a calling to Youth Ministry and was excited to be used to reach out to young people the same way God used someone to reach out to me. I decided to dedicate myself to my youth group and hang with friends from church more to help me stay above the influences of the world.

After high school, I attended Apostolic Bible Institute in 2006 and received an associate‘s degree. In 2008 God made a way for me to receive an offer to be the Youth Pastor of Edge Student Ministries under Pastor Mike Waddle in Wyoming, MN. 3 months later, I married my best friend and the love of my life Krista, and she still puts up with me to this very day. In early 2012 we felt God sending the winds of change, but we weren’t too certain what it was. We prayed and sought His direction, and in the summer of 2012 we moved back to Rochester. In the past year we accepted the role of Youth Pastor again for Called Youth Ministries under Pastor Robert Kaske. In December of that year our son Max was born. And we just can‘t thank God enough for him. He brings so much joy and happiness to our home. We wouldn’t trade it for anything. In May of 2013 I was appointed Youth Director for Section One, and all I can say is buckle up, because it’s going to be an amazing ride!

A former Nebraska cornhusker I grew up just outside of Omaha in a suburb called Bellevue. At age eighteen, I felt led to attend Indiana Bible College unsure of anything that would follow. My intention was to attend for just one year and see the world by enlisting in the military.

I had a strong desire to serve the Lord but wrestled with my calling. It was in this time God changed my preconceived understanding of what a calling is, and pushed me beyond my self pronounced limitations.

Upon graduation, I not only accepted my call into the ministry but shortly thereafter found the perfect partner and love of my life Taralyn Anderson (Formerly Reece). Just over a year ago, I first came to Minnesota on a visit with some friends to see Tara but little did I know God was aligning my life to be apart of an on fire District! I felt a connection with the youth at the Lakeland United Pentecostal Church in Alexandria. I am now married and serving as youth Pastor, reminded to, "Let God plan your life because if you do, you will certainly under plan it" -Paul D. Mooney

God has always exceeded my expectations! I wonder how much more so in the years to come. There is an incredible calling into the kingdom for everyone and I’m excite to be apart!
